From 12pm, Wednesday 21 August, for 48 HOURS, all donations will be DOUBLED*

This means if you gift one night of accommodation for a family with a sick child, it creates DOUBLE THE IMPACT and provides two nights of support and care.

MEET ARTHUR
After returning to work only three days earlier from maternity leave, Amelia, Arthur's Mum picked up her twin one-year-old boys Arthur and Oscar early from daycare. She told herself they needed to come home because they'd be tired, but really, she just missed them.
As they were playing in the lounge room Arthur lay across her lap. His nappy was a little skewed and she could see the edge of a tiny rash. It was about the size of a 20 cent piece ... after talking to a paediatrician friend, she took him to emergency as a precaution and things got very serious very quickly and everything changed so fast.
When they landed in Sydney they were met by the oncologists at Sydney Children's Hospital who had already reviewed the blood test results and confirmed Arthur had leukaemia and treatment was to start the next morning.
For over 181 nights they called Ronald McDonald House in Randwick home and all because of generous donors like you who help keep families together as their child takes on the fight of their life.

Your gift provides more than a place to sleep for families
On average, it costs $160 per night to support each family staying at Ronald McDonald House in Randwick.
For the families staying at the House, their entire stay is at no cost to help relieve some of the pressures of being away from home.
At Ronald McDonald House, a night means more than just a roof over a family’s head.
A night for our families means:
- Warm and supportive accommodation, so families can focus on their sick child.
- A network of support through other families, staff, and volunteers.
- The hospital is a quick 5-minute walk away.
- A kitchen full of food, with meals cooked by our supporters three times a week.
- In-house education support by qualified teachers.
- Access to 40 hours of free tuition when the patient returns home.
