I'm taking part in Swim for Sick Kids this November to support seriously ill and injured children and their families.

On average, it costs $190 to support a sick child and their family for one night at the House. The families stay for FREE so they can focus on what is most important, their sick child.

Getting back in the pool

Due to chronic pain, I gave up competitive swimming YEARS AGO. After having a really difficult 18 months with my health, it felt like the perfect opportunity to get back into what little me used to love. 
Swimming so far has caused some pain, but I refuse to let it get in the way of this goal. Knowing what I know about my health & abilities, I am hopeful that I will come out of this feeling better and stronger which will hopefully help with my recovery

Swimming has always been my “thing”. It came naturally and I flourished in the pool. As I got older, my priorities changed and I stopped competing all together. I have wanted to get back into it & this is the perfect way to do it. I’m doing this for my younger self, and most importantly those who need the support of the Ronald McDonald House 🏊‍♀️🫂❤️
