Hey guys!
Just a little update, I’m a bit behind on my daily goals but I did some catch up swimming over the weekend! I’ve been totally pooped trying to keep up and have not been recording any content but I’ll do my best to post something for you all this week 🥰 I appreciate those of you checking in and keeping up with my progress. It means so much to me, the children I am sponsoring and the families we are supporting.

3rd Nov, 3.3km done and dusted!

Monday 3rd Nov
Out in the pool today, managed to hit my daily goal of 3.3km 🏊‍♀️. Here’s a cheeky peak at how I broke it up as well (the crossed out 20 was because I started it and took a break :P). I think I will have to adjust when I take breaks and allow myself more time for my swims but I’ll figure it out as we go. Bit of a late start being day 3, but nothing a couple extra hours this weekend can’t cover! I’m not going to lie, I think I’m bit over confident aiming for 100km, but I won’t know unless I try! And I’ve got you guys to keep me motivated and push me to do my part. Thank you everyone who has interacted with my social media posts and is keeping up with me so far- and a special thank you to Cheryl (my wonderful, amazing gma) who has made our 1st donation of a whopping $100! Also to Resha and Veer for sharing my content and helping push this cause further ❤️ I cannot thank you guys enough. Back at it again tomorrow, reminder if you’re swimming as well and you’re out and about in the sun to stay hydrated and practice sun safety. Slip, slop, slap ☀️

Hi, I’m Kara!

Sunday 19th Oct
This year (2025), I’ve decided to use my swimming skills to support sick children by raising funds and awareness!
Myself and people close to me have been directly effected by serious illness, and I’m glad to be able to do my part in helping these kids and families afford the proper support and accomodation during these difficult times. I’m calling on you, your friends and family and whoever is keen to show your support, share the cause.
I have set myself a goal of 100km in the pool to push myself and get back out of my comfort zone, and I’m hoping that with the support from you all that we can raise $1330 to fund a week or more of accomodation for a child and their family with the RMHC. I encourage you to get involved and contribute however you can!! Every cent, every share and every thought counts, and I thank you all for your contributions ❤️
LETS SWIM!!!
