Impact.com and Insider One Run Club Returns to Sydney This Week

Sydney, 9 February 2026 — Marketing and customer engagement leaders will gather at Darling Harbour this Friday for the Impact.com and Insider One Run Club, a community-driven event combining fitness, professional insight, and purpose.

The event brings together industry professionals for a 5km run and walk through Darling Harbour and Barangaroo, followed by a fireside chat with marketing experts and a shared commitment to supporting families with seriously ill children.

A Morning Built on Momentum

Participants will kick off the day with a 5km course along Sydney's waterfront before gathering at Vogue Cafe for coffee, breakfast, and conversation. The morning will also feature a fireside chat moderated by EJ Owens, RVP of Sales APJ at Impact.com, with panellists Lucia Garajova, former Marketing Director at H&M and Cue, and Maddy Baxter-Smith, eCommerce Manager ANZ at New Balance.

The discussion will centre on turning post-peak pressure into profitable momentum, the evolving definition of customer loyalty, and what marketers need to unlearn to succeed in 2026.

"High-performing teams don't wait for the starting gun—they train ahead of it," said Owens. "Run Club is about building stamina for long-term growth and speed for moments that matter."

Running for a Cause

The event has partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) to support families with seriously ill children. Participants are encouraged to donate, with every contribution helping provide accommodation, meals, and care when families need it most.

"Every step taken this Friday supports families going through unimaginable challenges," said Nico Cabrera, Marketing Lead ANZ at Insider One. "This isn't just about networking or fitness. It's about showing up for something bigger than ourselves."

Prizes and Community Connection

Attendees will have the chance to win one of three pairs of New Balance 1080v15 running shoes, valued at $280 AUD each. One pair will go to the top male runner, one to the top female runner, and one will be awarded via raffle to all participants.

Impact.com and Insider One Run Club is part of a growing movement of marketing professionals who believe momentum is built through consistency, discipline, and shared purpose. The event is one of several planned across Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, and Brisbane throughout 2026.
