I'm swimming for Sick Kids!

I'm taking part in Swim for Sick Kids this November to support seriously ill and injured children and their families.

For sick kids staying at Ronald McDonald House in Randwick, they just want their families close as they battle childhood diseases, illnesses and injuries.

On average, it costs $160 to support a sick child and their family for one night at the House. The families stay for FREE so they can focus on what is most important, their sick child.

A few years ago, my family was directly impacted by childhood illness. My nephew, Louis had been diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of five. In a matter of moments, my family's world turned upside down. If it wasn't for the Ronald McDonald House, they would have been financially unable to care for their sick child.

Staying at the Ronald McDonald house is one Louis' fondest memories of his time undergoing cancer treatment. He remembers his brothers and sisters coming for visits, the friendships he made whilst in the house, ringing the bell when he finally was given the "cancer-free" clearance and of course the CHEESE BURGERS!

The admiration I have for this charity is huge and this month I'm taking part in this challenge to help support families just like mine and children just like Louis. 

Please support me and help keep families together as they face the most difficult journey of their lives.

Together, we can show these brave and courageous kids that we're fighting for them.
