Imagine your child is sick — not just a cold, but really, seriously ill. Your world flips in an instant. Hospital walls become your new normal, and the comfort of home feels a million miles away.
Now imagine trying to hold it all together — traveling hours for treatment, sleeping in waiting rooms, juggling work, bills, and other children who still need you.
This is the heartbreaking reality for too many families.
But there is a place that becomes their lifeline: Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney.
Their 31-Bedroom House in Randwick provides a home away from home — a warm bed, a hot meal, a supportive community — just steps from the hospital. They help keep families together during the darkest, scariest times of their lives. And they do it completely free for those who need it most.
Beyond accommodation they also run a Learning Program that supports sick children and their siblings, ensuring they continue their education even while undergoing treatment.
They also have two Family Rooms located in Sydney Children’s Hospital and Wollongong Hospital providing respite, meals, laundry facilities, and a comforting space for families to recharge away from the hospital ward.
Families are going through the fight of their life, but they can't do it alone. That’s why I’m fundraising — to give back to the House that gives so much. 💛
Every dollar raised helps provide love, comfort, and dignity to families with seriously ill children.
No one should face their child’s illness alone.
